Can you explain the difference between Hospice Care and Home Care?
Home care and hospice care are similar in the fact that they both can be provided in your home, but
each provide to very different needs. Hospice is a special way of caring provided for individuals and
families facing end of life issues. Efficient, compassionate and loving care is provided to all. Home care
is for those who need help learning to cope with a recently diagnosed medical condition, hoping to avoid
hospital stays with in-home care. Home care is provided to individuals who have left the hospital
but still may need medical care while recovering and who may still need their medical conditions checked
on a regular basis.
